I haven't been trading much because of work commitments but I hope to do some evening stuff next week to try earn some extra bob before my wife's parents come over from Canada in July. Only traded four races so nothing exceptional to report. I was probably using bigger stakes than I should to be honest but I knew I only had an hour or so at it so I had to make the most of it. One market went against me and this was mainly due to a lapse in concentration when my daughter came in looking for an ice-pop.
Ideally, you should lock yourself away in a room when trading but it's easier said than done - especially with a young kid. Basically, I missed the trade and the price went against me while cutting the top off an ice pop!
I should have got out immediately for a fiver loss but I held on which ended up costing me nearly a tenner. Still, profit is profit and I'm still doing well target wise.
